We are aware of the environmental impact that plastic polymers caused and continue to cause on our fragile ecosystem.

We must not demonize plastic: it is an invention that has improved everyone’s quality of life and has contributed to economic development. For example, plastics used as insulators save us energy, while packaging helps to ensure food safety and reduce food waste.

A plastic-free world is a utopia. In January 2018, the European Commission adopted the ‘European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy‘: an action plan intended to transform the way plastic objects are designed, used, produced, and recycled within the Union. Sustainable development reliant on the innovative use of plastics can happen only as a result of a more efficient recycling system.

Therefore, TCM Plast strongly encourages, where possible, the use of new eco-friendly, biodegradable and recyclable products.

In order to further minimize our environmental impact, we installed photovoltaic panels on the roof of our factory. We power – from independent generators and renewable sources – about 40% of the energy we need.
